    I understand negotiating for entertainers...nothing is a done deal until after
the work is actuall completed...That's why I mentioned Connery's aborted LOTR
gig...there he was last year in all the paper with an announcement that he was
going to play Gandalf...and then six months later you read that someone else is
doing it instead...

    I work with a particularly volatile artist: Ashley MacIsaac, who just cancelled
two dozen Canadian Tour dates last month...played ten traditional dates instead,
and then cancelled one of those...and he's re-booked five of the cancelled Quebec
and Ontario shows...stuff happens in the entertainment world...
