Hello Donald - Perhaps it was my query
you remebered seeing. I asked if the previous person who mentioned
Catherine and John also knew their places of birth,
etc.
I don't know this family but the names were very
similar to mine (but then many Scots families seem to operate with a
quite small pool of names, didn't they).
My own Sinclairs were from Perthshire and my own
Grandfather born in Inverkip, Renfrewshire.
Thanks for these details anyway. Will make a
note of them in the back of the file.
