Re: Sinclair/Sinklear

Rhonda,
Let's try this again. We don't know whether you are 8 years old with a
father about 30 and a grandfather about 60 and born in 1939 or whether you
are 80, the youngest of 12 kids with a father born around 1860 and
grandfather born around 1830. We don't want to know your age but it would
help it we knew about when your grand father was born. Do you know how many
were in his family. Then we can estimate when ggggrandfather was born.
Have you looked at any census for those counties. Have you checked with
every living relative that your father or grandfather can possibly think of
and that those people can think of. People should spend at least a year
contacting all these people before doing anything else. Many times you will
find people who have already done part of the research or have goodies in an
old trunk that would have gotten thrown out if you had not reached them in
time. No amount of research will ever replace those lost documents many
times.
So I assume you have done all of this now so let us know about what time
your grandfather was born and where.
