Re: German, and other Sinclairs




Yes, I wondered about the Germans also and still wondering whether any got
to Finland later on.  At a Highland Games a couple years ago I met a
Sinclair whose roots came from Normandy to England and back to "a very
beautiful coastal area of France".  There was quite a story there but his
mother, a fierce Irishwoman, was still so mad at the Scots that I thought
her looks would kill all of us in the tent, so haven't pursued the the rest
of his story but keep thinking it probably would be helpful to someone to
know about this migration pattern.
