Re: Sons of Earl of Caithness in the Am. Rev War

I will probably stay on the list a little longer, but realise that my
interests are different. Feel free to contact me anytime re Sinclair
military. My main aim is to document the 71st Fraser Regiment. It is almost
unknown in Scotland, yet fairly well known by Americans. I am mainly
interested in the social implications, rather than military. It involves all
the clans and people from mainly the Highlands. I will help people who are
interested in history as well as stringing names together. The Nova Scotia
list has a great mix of historical, social, and genealogical interests.
I emphasise again, in case anyone takes umbrage, that we all have different
interests.
I have had a good day on the Sinclairs, and hope there are some family
papers at the SRO or in private hands somewhere. It is quite exciting
reading letters that have probably not been opened for many a year.
Regards,
Ed in Scotland
