Dear Jean Haddow,
I have been "lurking" about the Sinclair list for some time without posting
or contributing anything, but your message needs an answer.  I am sure that
I speak for others researching my particular Sinclair line (right, Rebecca?)
and others when I urge you not to give up on us!  The only thing that would
be nicer than having someone actually in Scotland volunteer to help would be
to actually have something legitimate to correspond with them about.  In
other words, my line is stuck in Robeson County, North Carolina, with one
John Sinclair in the 1820s-50s.  If and when we manage to find out just
where in Scotland this man came from, we will run, not walk, to our
computers and begin to pester you!  In the meantime, thank you for your kind
offer.
