Have you tried a copy of his
death certificate? Names of parents are often listed, as well as birth
places. (Contact the Vital Records Dept/Health Dept in the state where he
died.) Do you know where he was born? Look in the 1910 and 1920
censuses for possible parents.

too am looking for information on St.Clairs in Ohio, I am so stuck it
is
unreal. My grandfather does not seem to exsist. Loyd James St.Clair
born in
2-of 1907 and died in 1977. Married to Edda Maude
Blevins....children Dave,
Eva, Larry...they had more but I do not know
names. Please let me know if you
have any thing at all.
