My family is in the midst of answering the call of Scotland also and are
reading the tales of other's adventures with great interest as my family is
visiting in Aug. 98.  My sister and her family as well as my mother will round
out our party of 8.  I also welcome all travel tips.  Presently, we have plans
to stay in Edinborough for 2 nights, Wick (MacKays) for one night and
Kirkwall(Ayre Hotel) in the Orkneys for 2 nights teminating in Glasgow.  We
are particularily interested in the Orkneys and Caithness due to our family
