Sorry -  Lots and lots of Thompsons, but no Isham Marion; 
My Thompsons went from Virginia to S. Carolina to Illinois,
near Edwardsville, very early,
By 1813 Wm. Thompson was teaching school there, when my great grandmother, 
Rebecca Thompson was born.  They moved to Adams Co., Ill. after Wm. died
