Mitt Romney is indeed LDS (Mormon) however to his status of a Bishop or former Bishop I have not heard. The LDS clergy is entirely a lay clergy and he could have served in that capacity in the past as could have his father George. I am not LDS and am not privileged to such information and glean what I know from friends and local media. Interesting if there is a Clan connection.
