May I add, that is remains an interesting but rather strange translation -
Nova Scotia is West of Scotland... Then the the quesion is why « Land East
from (or to, or of) East... I guess it is a matter of perspective. Maybe
Estotiland is « Land FOR the East », meaning a refuge or ultimate
destination for people (or blood) from the East... ?
