Please remember to trim quotations of old messages in your new messages.
A few lines of quotation for context are good.

it is painful to read and makes it hard to find your new information.
Remember, all messages to this list are archived and visible on the web via

So there's no need to quote an entire old message. Everyone can see it
through the above URL.
