While using a 1875 state atlas for Iowa for some research I was doing, I
happened to notice an excellent picture of T. M. Sinclair, apprently one of
the leading citizens of Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa.
There was also a full page etching of his Pork Packing establishment. Quite
impressive! The complex included a cooperage, a slaughter house, and a box
factory.
