Dear Gordon;
What an excellent point you make, that is that knowledge is more than
accumulated facts, but requires the elements of judgement and understanding
brought to bear on the facts which may hopefully give rise to an ever
greater wisdom and knowledge of what is previously known to be factual. One
of the constructive elements is for members on this list to shae each in
their own way, that history as but one field of human knowledge, and can be
taught and shared in a wider context, with the view to even more
investigative quests and wider appreciation.
