The term corn is also used in Canada, but there is another part of North
America south of the States that uses the term maize more than corn. In the
mid-Mexico regions the word they use is maize and look at you funny if you
ask for corn. Maize is used to be beaten in to tortillas which are a common
food down there. They are eaten as we eat wheat bread here.
