Further to my message last week I have now set up a new mail account - Iain.Laird@btinternet.com - and transferred our Family History Project to www.iain.laird.btinternet.co.uk . This was because CompuServe had put advertising banners on every page of websites using their "ourworld" server, despite this being a subscription service. I have made a few small changes to the site in re-posting it. Please let me know if you see any problems with links or content. Thanks in particular to John Sinclair Quarterman who patiently re-set all the links to my temporary CompuServe site from his Clan Sinclair site www.mids.org/sinclair while I was setting up the new one. John, I will leave that site up until you are ready for another re-linking exercise. No hurry now! And thanks to everyone for their sympathy and encouragement while I was transferring and setting the new link and experiencing further problems with CompuServe. I hope you understand that I was not happy to have family pages intruded upon by advertising over which I had no control. I will continue to use the address INSLaird@cs.com for out of office business purposes for a little while longer. Thanks for your understanding. Yours aye Iain [ This is the Sinclair family discussion list, sinclair@mids.org [ To get off or on the list, see http://www.mids.org/sinclair/list.html
