Did the Sinclair Paint Company originate in St Louis? I happened to be using the new databases section of Ancestry.com and ran across one for the St Louis, Missouri City Directory for 1889-1890. I extracted the following SINCLAIR data in case it is of interest to anyone. I couldn't help but notice the apparent connection of the St Louis Sinclairs with the painting industry. Never having researched the Sinclair Paint Company--and not recalling discussion on the list regarding it--thought I would inquire: do the folks listed below connect to the Sinclair Paint Company?
