Lieut William Sinclair was an officer in the 71st Fraser Regiment, which
fought in the American war of Independence. He enlisted 1775 and died 1776.
Honbl is marked against his name, so I assume he was of noble birth.
Does anyone have a genealogy book on Sinclair that may pin point this
William further?
