Hi-
>To my knowledge, I am not related to a Sinclair. However, my wife has a
>"Book of Psalms" (printed 1905) given to her by her Grandmother, Mary
>Finlayson McKendrick. Mary immigrated to Canada prior to 1900.
>
>The fly leaf of the "Book of Psalms" bears the following inscription:
>
> To Rebecca Finlayson
> from
> Mrs. Sinclair
> Olde Manse
> Wick
> Scotland
>
>I have two questions:
> 1. Was there a SINCLAIR in the clergy in Wick after 1900?
Don't know.
> 2. Does anyone have information on FINLAYSON in Wick?
We have some information about some Finlaysons in Thurso,
but not specifically in Wick.
Thanks
John
