> Hi , Toni: I don't know too much about Archibald other than that he went to
Nova Scotia from Scotland, married Hattie in 1869.in Great Village. He worked
in a coal mine & died in 1886 at the age of 50 of black lung disease, leaving
his wife & 5 children. He had a couple of brothers who were seamen, as my
grandmother remembers them bringing oranges back around Christmastime. My
grandmother was only 4 when he died & just remembers that times were hard
afterwards before they moved to Mass. Thanks for any info you can give me.
