Hello Marge,
I was wondering whether you as a new member, were aware that maybe your
first Sinclair ancestor really arrived in Nova Scotia in 1398. Have you
heard about Prince Henry Sinclair yet? A few schools in Nova Scotia have
added him to their studies. Of course, this was not a permanent visit but
much much is known and written about this historical voyage which included
10-12 ships carrying 200 to 300 men. Thus most everybody in 600 years in
Scotland and Orkney probably had an ancestor on this trip.
