> Hi! Glad to be aboard. My connection to the Sinclair Clan is on my maternal
grandmother's side. My grandmother was born in Great Village, Nova Scotia to
Archibald Sinclair & Harriet McLellan Sinclair Aug. 20, 1882. Harriet Louise
McLellan was born in Nova Scotia to Samuel McLellan & Margaret McBurnie on
Sept. 22, 1851 & married Archibald Sinclair On Jan. 26, 1869. I do not know
when Archibald was born, only that he came over to Nova Scotia from Scotland,
& that he had 2 brothers who were seamen. Archibald worked in a coal mine &
died in 1886(Sept. 17th.) in Great Village. Archibald had 5 children: Lewis
Frank, b. 1/29/1870 in N.S.;d.1/26/1914 in Toronto; Eleanor(Nellie) Steward
b.1/23/1872 inN.S.; d. in 1953 in Minn.; James D b.3/23/75 in N.S.; d.
1/1/1894 in Malden, Mass.; Samuel Edgar b.3/28/1878 in N.S.; d. 1934 in Fla.;
& Amelia ethel b. 8/20/1882 in N.S.; d. 2/20/1976 in Plymouth, Mass. If anyone
has any info I could , use , I would surely appreciate it!
