It would be interesting to know which line you refer to.
Alexander had 8 children. Then the first born, Wayman, had 7 children. At this
rate of issue those first 8 children would give this tree 56 different
branches and this was only the 1750's.
My branch is Alexander to Wayman to George to David etc.
