I wish I could say where they are from and would be glad to send my material
which I have in the Family Tree Maker program.....James appears in 1818
marrying Lavinia/Luarner/Luvinea Prather in what becomes Jessamine Co., they
produce some 13 children together, she dies in 1841, he remarries to
Elizabeth Miller, they have one child, he dies in 1844 and all of this is
within a very few miles in Jessamine Co. We have not (yet) gotten back
before this.... There is one child's census record showing James as being
born in NH, however the death certificate of his last child who died in 1911
says he was born in KY.......any ideas are would be very welcomed... Helen
