Everett:
I do have an unpublished "book" on your line. I am assuming you descend
from the James who married Susan? I have never had contact with a
descendant from James but do have a photocopy of a very old picture of
James, Susan, daughter Elizabeth, and dau-in-law(?) Jane.
Most of my material is of James' son John (wife Alcey) who migrated
westward. If you would care to send me your family sheets documenting your
branch back to John & Elizabeth, I will be happy to share what I have. I
no longer send out information unless I have proof that person is a
descendant.
By the way, I do have a notarized copy of John's Bible. It was found in a
box in a barn. I also have the court records from SC giving the estate
settlement. Many years ago I hired a researcher in that area and he did a
wonderful job although he did not know any descendants of the ones that
stayed in the county.
Will be eager to work with you. I will have to get busy (or busier) and
get this book into my computer.
