Amber - George & Ann St. Clair descend from Wayman & Mary (Watts) St.
Clair.
There is a good chance that your William is from that same branch. George
joined the military and spent his life roaming the country. Ann finally
separated from him. They ended up in Ohio and I have the family traced and
documented although I have never heard from any of the descentants. I do
have a ton of military records on both him and his son.
I have been busy finishing up my North Carolina records as there are so
many of my subscribers looking for them. It has taken me two weeks but
most of the material is now in my computer. As soon as I perfect that
material I will dig out Wayman & Mary's "book" and start entering it. None
of it is in the computer yet so there is work to be done on it. I have
also ordered some records from Salt Lake that may be of help to you but
have not received them yet.
