Hello,
My name is William Sinclair and I am interested in the history of a
namesake of mine, but no family link that I know of. Rev William Sinclair
was 'transported' from the town of Newtownards wher I now live, in
1798 because of his involvement in the 1798 rebellion in Ireland.
I imagine he was transported to Australia. I would love to know
what happened him and if he has any descendants in Australia
today.
