Opening an e-mail that is text (like your message below) is okay. You
cannot get a virus from that. Where you CAN get a virus is from EXECUTABLE
files--files that you click on and start a program. They often have an
"exe" extension. Do not ever open those unless you know the sender knows
what he/she is doing.
It is a good idea also to get a good antivirus program.
