Re: history of place names and Cheng Ho

I found JSQ's reference to Cheng Ho (  a few days ago)  most interesting
because, like most of us (?) I had never heard of this person before.  The
link to follow up with more of the story was also very usefully interesting.

For anyone who didn't bother to read that through, may I recommend they do.
