Re: St. Clair/Sinclair



Maybe when you go back another generation you will find that William's
father was a Sinclair or Sinkler.  Then you will ask yourself why did
William change his name to St. Clair?  Family fued, in honor of Gen. Arthur
St. Clair (who pronounced it as Sinclair/Sinkler), because he thought it was
more authentic, or to spell it as it sounded when pronounced, who knows?
