Re: Scots are everywhere

Donald;

Your news was interesting and in a sense hardly surprising and I wanted to
share a similar experience when I went out west a couple of years ago.
Thinking that I was taking my kids to the wild west we went to such places
as New Mexico, Utah and Arizona. Cowboys were not prevalent. In Alberquerque
there was a Scottish Festival, in Uta there was a Scottish annual event, and
in Arizona I listened to Cape Breton music from Flagstaff. On the return in
Oklahoma City we received yet again another Celtic festival.
In fact what we are all witnessessing is a cultural phenomeon that goes all
across this continent. Now we are still looking for the cowboys.....but we
found plenty of kilts!!
