Hi-I am researching the McKinstry name. George McKinstry married Miriam Hunt St.Clair Sept 7, 1817. She was from Hardwick Vermont. They lived in Hyde Park Vermont. Mariam Hunt St.Clair was the daughter of James and Sarah Hunt St.Clair. She was born Oct. 3, 1794. She died Aug. 15, 1872 in McKinstry Corners, Kankakee Co. Il. The town was also known as Sumner. Would like to know if anyone is familiar with this branch of the family.
