Here is a very comprehensive Dictionary Web Site --- it has more than 800
dictionaries in 160 languages !!

It also has Gaelic Dictionaries in Irish , Welsh , Manx , Scottish, etc.

The english versions are pretty good too , for example , your word ::
Main Entry: de·sid·er·a·tum
Pronunciation: di-"si-d&-'rä-t&m, -"zi-, -'rA-
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural de·sid·er·a·ta /-t&/
Etymology: Latin, neuter of desideratus
