Thompson's Guide to Rosslyn Chapel and Castle



BlankThe year 2002 marks the 110th anniversary of the publication
of Reverend John Thompson’s Guide to Rosslyn Chapel and Castle,
Hawthornden, Etc..   Thompson’s Guide is much sought over by
researchers as it contains a wealth of information about the
chapel and surrounding neighborhood, including the glen,
Hawthornden, Gorton House and the their mysterious caves.  The
Guide also includes a history and genealogy of the Rosslyn
Sinclairs.  Regrettably, it has been out of print for many years
and has been difficult to access.

            The good news is the a reprint of Thompson’s Guide is
now available for purchase for those interested in the mystique
of Rosslyn Chapel and the neighboring castle.   If you are
interested in purchasing the guide,  please visit Clan Sinclair

purchased for $10.00, including postage in the USA and Canada.
All profits for the sale of the book will be contributed to the
various Sinclair heritage organizations and trusts.

            For those living in the Washington D.C. area, the
book will be available for purchase on July 26 and 27 at the Clan
Sinclair tent at the Virginia Scottish Games in Alexandria,
Virginia.
