We don't have Tartan Day in the UK - perhaps we should?  You preserve a lot
of traditions over there rather better than we do!

The 6th April has probably been chosen as it is the Anniversary of The
Declaration of Arbroath, the manifestation of Scots Independence (I have
picture and a translation in the Scottish Section of my website).
