The artist

Laurel and Sinead,
  I have looked through my paperwork and so far I have not  found the information I was looking for on the artist.  I know it was a woman and that she lived in Scotland.  Also, she has work displayed in a few galeries.
  The information was gotten from a travelor's catalog from the public library where I was living at the time.  The name of the author was something like Filby or Folby and it was a fairly recent edition.  He tells history about the places he suggests to visit.  This is how I came to know about this artist.  I am not sure, but it seems that her name was Kathleen.
  I shall keep searching and will also see if this catalog is in my local library.
