Obituary, Ruth Mae StCLAIR

Ruth Mae StCLAIR, 77, died at 12pm Saturday, May 20, 2000 at St Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield. Services were at 11am Wednesday, May 24 at the Bethel
Seventh Day Adventist Church and at 2:30pm Wednesday at the Moon Seventh
Day Adventist Church. Jean McComb was orgainst for solist Phyllis Corken.
Burial was at the Moon Cemetery.

Ruth was born September 25, 1922 at Moon in the Town of Emmett to Edwin
B and Hildred WICKERSHEIM BAKER. She was educated at the Moon Seventh Day
Adventist School and spent one year at the Bethel Academy and graduated
from Mosinee High School in 1940. She married Nels StCLAIR June 5, 1944
at the Moon Seventh Day Adventist Church. The StCLAIR's moved between Bethel
and Moon where they farmed and Ruth worked at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin
Rapids; Colonial Manor Nursing Home at Wausau; and the Wolf & Fanny Nelson
and Bethel Nursing Homes at Arpin.

Ruth is survived by her mother, Hildred BAKER of Colville, Washington;
one son, Dwight (Elly) StCLAIR of Arpin; one daughter, Mrs. James (Jean)
SCHWARK of Fall River; 22 foster children; five grandchildren; 10 
great-grandchildren;
one sister, Marge (Morrie) VAN DORN of Colville; three brothers, Howard
(LaVaughn) BAKER of Lincoln Nebraska; Glen BAKER of Sumner, Washington
and Ben BAKER of Seattle, Washington.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nels in 1992; two children in
infancy; one great-grandon, Glen; her father; and one brother, Edward.

The Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, was in charge of arrangements. >>
