Re: General Arthur St. Clair

Hi Guys,
General Artur St. Clair was a Brigadeer General for Washington during
the revolution.. He paid his troops from his own fortune and went broke .
The Government never did reimburse him. He was President of the US before
the inaugeration of Washington, Governor of the Northwest Territory and
Lake St Clair, StClair River near Detroit were named after him. Hope this
helps.
                                                    Yours Aye, David
