Sinclair Dates


   Sinclair Dates:  November 16. In 1881: Apse added to Rosslyn Chapel.
   Francis Robert, 4th Earl of Rosslyn, [1]added the apse to serve as a
   baptistry with an organ loft above. On this date he writes to his
   architect Andrew Kerr, `I must say that the author pronounces your
   building a complete success.'.
