Here is a brief update on new items in the web pages.
All of them may be found by looking under New in

The new items in the past week are:

Where to find passenger Lists, by Sinclair de la Behottiere.

The Battle of Bannockburn, with summaries of the main views regarding
the battle, the Sinclairs, and the Templars, including quotes from
Sinclair de la Behottiere, John Barbour, Robert Burns, and Mel Gibson.

Last month Sinclair de la Behottiere represented all of us at the
feast day of our namesake saint in the town where he was martyred;
his report tells us about the Brothers of Charity, the Mayor, the
priest, the church, the relics, the well, the sunset, the service,
the pyre, the cross, the salon de fete, the dance, the bans, the band,
the night, the wine, and the song.

A Knights Templar page, with an overview of the Order, its relation
to the Sinclairs, and a list of lists by John Duguid.

A brief page about the Battle of Flodden, as an excuse to have
a place to put the lyrics to Flowers of the Forest, the song by
Jane Elliott.

A report from the road back about Pillarguri Days in Norway,
by Iain, Annabel & Sarah Laird.  The cast includes Malcolm, Niven,
and an impressive gift sword, plus many songs and a race.

Those of you who have sent in material that hasn't appeared in the web
pages yet, don't despair; I'll get to it as time permits.

The vast majority of the material in these web pages has been sent in by
various Sinclairs and others all over the world, many of them through
the Sinclair discussion list,

And remember: these web pages were never intended to be the only
Sinclair web pages.  They are more of an overview that should over time
increasingly use links into other pages elsewhere.  Send in URLs for
your own web pages; I will add links to them.
