I have found a wedding in Chester Co. Pa. in 1709. William Sinclair b 1680 in 
Scotland, married Phebe Glave b 1680 (daughter of George Glave). Issues are;
Esther , John, Maragret, Phebe, George, William Jr., James.
Does any of this seem familiar. If so, I can give you 5 generations back.
This was a Quaker couple. I hope this helps.
