Thanks for the sugestion, but I have checked the census for 1900, 1910 &
1920 for a great variety of states that I thought might be likely but with
no success.  My dad Clarence left home at young age and moved around the
west working in construction and logging.  At one point he worked in
British Columbia in late 1930's where he met and married my mother Phyllis
Povoas.
