Re: Outstanding Sinclairs

We can and should honor our ancestors.  We should not, however,  create a
"list" indicating that a particular person or branch "stands above the
others".  Sorry, I can't buy into that philosophy.
One of the wealthiest families in America today had a Sinclair female
ancestor.  Very few are aware of her or her lineage.  She is revered in that
family even though her origins were of the "lower ranks".  If we are going
to create a list, let's create one for those "unsung" heroes who toiled
laboriously and suffered great deprivation in order that this generation
could be the successes they are!
