Pete, I really do not care for the idea of an "outstanding" list of Sinclair
achievers. Why? Because after 35 years of research I have found that the
famous also have, in the majority of cases, an infamous side also. Instead,
let's let each branch be proud of all their ancestors. I am truly afraid
that if I ever see a "list" of a supposed select group, I would then be
tempted to publish the truth. I see no purpose in exposing the negative
sides of our ancestors. I do see a purpose in preserving the history of our
ancestors who, in my opinion, have produced a wonderful people.
The quotation on my website was printed for a reason. Those "famous" and
"wealthy" persons have frequently left much to be desired in the things that
really count - honor, integrity, and love.
