A couple of TV comments on history.
Did anyone catch the question on Jeopardy about where Friday the 13th came
from?   They did give the Knights Templars purge as the source.

Jay Leno often circulates on the street and asks people at random questions
about history.  His theme last night was the origin of Veterans Day plus
several other questions about founding fathers.  Their answers just make me
cringe.  Even a young school teacher thought Benedict Arnold had something
to do with food=eggs Benedict.

I really enjoyed hearing about Jean Haddow's background and most wonderful
award.  I bet she becomes a very good resource person for many of us.
