Oops!  Yes, I did mean William instead of his son, James.  That's what
happens when your computer is down for a month and you have 176 emails
awaiting you.

I have never heard of a legend of William coming as a child.  He definitely
is not the lost child as I have court documented him.  I am now looking at
some very early Maryland records and there are two possibilities for his
parentage so far.  Of course, he could have been the emigrant himself. 
Only time and a lot of research and luck will tell.

I have added your email address to that book in case there is a
breakthrough.
