reply! As I said, I have very little to go on but the following seems to
be accurate:-
a) Name: John Sinclair (not sure if he had a middle
name);
b) Of Scottish origin;
c) Born in the region of 1918;
d) Was in the South African Navy in late 1960's;
e) Left for Australia per boat in 1970 - destination
expected
to be
Wellington;
f) Was a successful long-distance walker while in
South
Africa.
Apart from that, I have no
further info.
