Saint Claire of Assisi has no connection to the Sinclair family.
She was female.  She is the namesake of the city of Santa Clara, California
and of Santa Clara County, California, more popularly known as Silicon Valley.
She is the founder of the Poor Clares, the female monastic order related
to the Franciscans, as in Saint Francis, the namesake of San Francisco.

Saint Clare of Saint Clair sur l'Epte in Normandy in France
was male.  He is not genetically related to the Sinclair family,
so far as anyone knows.  The family simply took its name from the
place that had taken its name from Saint Clare.  He was not a she.
